- Interpret engineering and architectural drawings to create detailed shop and erection drawings for structural steel components.
- Ensure that all drawings adhere to industry standards, codes, and project-specific requirements.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to clarify design specifications and resolve any discrepancies.
- Create and review plans, sections, and details to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Verify the completeness and correctness of bills of materials (BOMs) for fabrication and procurement.
- Prepare material take-offs and reports for estimating and project planning purposes.
- Review and incorporate comments from checkers and clients into the drawings, highlighting addressed points.
- Identify and correct any model discrepancies or errors before submission for review.
- Work closely with the project team to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
- Continuously update knowledge of industry standards and software tools to improve detailing processes.
What is our requirement
**Immediate Joiner would be preferred
Educational Qualification:
A degree or diploma in Civil or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent education and experience.
Work Experience:
A minimum of 5 years of experience in steel detailing.
Software Proficiency Required:
- Proficiency in steel detailing software such as TEKLA / SDS2 and AutoCAD.
- Familiarity with Bluebeam software is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of industry standards, including AISC, NISD, IBC, CISC, and OSHA guidelines.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in work.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Proficiency in interpreting engineering and architectural drawings.
- Ability to work in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to project-specific requirements.
What are our Expectations

- Ability to work under pressure in given deadlines.
- Should be smart, self-motivated, energetic, and passionate about the profession.
- Work experience as a .NET Developer
- Proficiency in building windows form App or WPF
- In-depth knowledge of the .NET languages like C#
- Additional skill preference: Java script, SQL, MySQL experience
- Troubleshooting abilities
- Good communication skills
- Min. 3 years’ experience on development[plugin/tool/add-in] on top of any mechanical/civil software like Tekla, SDS/2, AutoCAD, Revit, etc. would be an added advantage.
